It’s so easy for me to go ga-ga over a great lip gloss or bananas over the perfect peach blush! We’ve already established that spring makeup looks are some of my faves to created, but when I have a naturally stunning canvas such as Studio Sidekick Leanna to work with, I’m just over the moon.
Let’s go through a step-by-step look at Studio Sidekick Leanna’s spring makeup! This one is perfect for anyone who love those a little glam in their back pocket for special occasions.
HOW TO ACHIEVE THIS LOOK:
- Cleanse your face and apply your moisturizer (and any boosters in your skin care routine). Let them fully absorb before starting your makeup.
- Grab a stippling brush and your Whipped Foundation and stipple the foundation until your achieve your desired coverage. Studio Sidekick Leanna is sporting our Whipped Foundation in the shade Almond. Not sure what we mean by “stipple”? HERE is a video I put together to show you how to achieve a flawless finish.
- Using your fingertip to warm up the product, apply the Bright Eyed Beauty Mineral Concealer to the under eye area, and then blend out any lines using a Beauty Blender or smaller stippling blush. For optimal brightness, check out the image in the product photos HERE as your guide for the area to focus on during application.
- Using a kabuki brush (or a large fluffy powder brush) apply a light dusting of Oil Absorbing Setting Powder to the areas of your face where you tend to get oily throughout the day. This will help set the cream products in your routine as well.
- Grab your blush brush and apply a light application of Mineral Blush in the shade Rose Petal to the apples of your cheeks. Just be sure to tap any excess powder off the brush before applying.
- OPTIONAL: Using a fan brush, or small, fluffy brush to apply a light dusting of our Mineral Blush in Peach to the top of your cheekbones, along with the bridge of your nose and center of your chin, for a beautiful glow and highlight.
- OPTIONAL: Take that same blush brush (or bronzer brush) to apply the Mineral Bronzer to high points of your face (areas the sun naturally tans your face like the cheeks, edges of the forehead, nose and chin). Just like the blush, remember that a little goes a long way.
- For the eyes, use the Asteria Palette with this image as your guide for where to apply each shade. You’ll want to use a standard eyeshadow brush for the Aurora and Nova shades and a blending brush for Solstice and Dark Matter. You can also use a thin angled brush to apply Dark Matter as an eyeliner.
- Apply 1 – 2 coats of the Clean Slate Natural Black Mascara to you lashes.
- Using a lip brush (or just use the stick) coat your lips with our Lip Stick in Peach.
Voila! You’re good to go girl. This look can help you put a little pep in your step without feeling unnatural! Here’s a look at the before and after with Studio Sidekick Leanna.
